He, has anyone been following the story about the stolen radioactive material in Mexico?
I guess this happens more often that we think. Does that material present a danger in terms of nuclear weapons?

It's not as major an event as you think. Sure, it should not be taken lightly, but it does happen and there are processes and procedures to deal with it.

True, it happens all the time, such radiographic sources get stolen, or lost and everyone freaks out, thinking that all of a sudden people are going to be dropping from radiation exposure. That's not what happens. Usually, the source is recovered within a short period of time and that's that.
