Excellent uploads, Pleonat. Presentation copies are not as useful as full, detailed reports, but I went through this one and was surprised to see that one of the things they are recommending is the use of water canons to spray the top of the reactor building after an accident, so they can reduce the amount of radioactive material released to the environment. Would that really work? Just spraying water?

Wet Deposition (or wet depletion) is a very effective process for removing airborne particulates and even Iodine vapor, from an airborne plume. Usually it's natural precipitation that does that, but properly configured water cannons can achieve the same results.
