Hey, I didn't write the report! It was published and I simply referenced it. Are you saying I need to verify every published report by myself, before I can make references to it? Are you serious? Is that what you do? Or are you saying that the release of radioactive material from Fukushima is not affecting marine life? The report may not be right, but the principle remains the same.

Unfortunately, the internet and computers make it way too easy for people to fake things and make them so believable that unsuspecting individuals unwillingly propagate the hoax, in particular if it supports their point if view. I remember the fake reports, back in 2011, about the radioactive plume from Fukushima killing people on the West coast of the USA within days! http://www.snopes.com/photos/technology/fallout.asp <-- FAKE

Pleonat, thank you for posting these links. I seriously was not aware that people make these things up just so that they can promote their cause! I am all for people disagreeing and championing some cause, but not by making things up. Can't someone legally stop them?

Gradphys, you'll be surprised to what lengths people will go to just prove their point. I'm all for being passionate about something and I can understand that as humans we are all biased to some degree about pretty much everything, but totally making up things to prove a point is beyond being passionate! It's just plain wrong.
