Technical Documents...

Post by BillRotando »

I don't know if this is what people are talking about, when they refer to worked out examples, but I had gotten the links to these documents for ASEASY years ago. Hopefully they are still active and they have some of what people have been asking for.

Linear Programming Examples -
http://www.triusinc.com/techs/basic_lin ... amming.pdf

Statistics Modeling Examples -
http://www.triusinc.com/techs/basic_sta ... models.pdf

If you can't get these documents from the above links, let me know, I have copies of them on my system and I can post them here.

Thanks you! I know there were more, but this is very helpful!

MaryTw, why don;t you tell us what it is you are trying to do. It could be that you do not need those documents. someone here may be able to give you some pointer and help you with what it is you are trying to do. Just saying...

I tried to download the pdfs from the links, but was not able to. Does anyone have them to post in a message here on the board?

Thanks

Well, I'm a newcomer, but as I was browsing through other threads, I saw that all those documents (and some others) can be found at:

http://www.triusinc.com/techs/

As I stated in a different post, I just wish the admin would put *all* the uploaded documents in a single list, somewhere.

I think that these are two different things. The documents attached to the various messages are documents users are uploading, based on their interests. The documents at http://www.triusinc.com/techs/ are documents that somehow have something to do with the company. At least that's my take of them. I downloaded a couple of them and I see that one of the company's founders appear to be one of the authors.

I see. It makes sense. Although, it's not clear how the documents in the folder (not those attached to messages) have something to do with the company.

And, for the record, I *still* think that they should organize all these very interesting documents in a better way, so that they could be easier accessible to users. The way it is now, they may diamonds, but not many people would know they are there, unless they read *ALL the message threads.
