Well, with 4 new plants already licensed and given the go ahead for construction in the last couple of months, is this the turn-around point for the nuclear industry in the US? I think so! I believe there will be more applications and new licenses issued by the end of the year. Many of us thought the Fukushima had signaled the end of the industry, but I'm glad to see that it isn't so.
I just hope the industry doesn't screw it up, again.

Nobody said that going forward, once the licenses were OK-ed, would be easy Howard. But I don't think too many would argue that there is renewed interest in nuclear. And, not just in the US. Look at this Canadian Government decision:
