There is a lot of work in the literature - as far as back in the 50's, suggesting that not only is the response not linear, but at low levels radiation may even have beneficial effects - "radiation hormesis". It would be very interesting to have someone in the know help us reconcile this ...

Any involvement with Fukushima?

It appears that TRIUS does nuclear safety work, so I was wondering if they have been involved at all with the Fukushima nuclear accident in Japan last March. Well, I don't mean involved with the accident, but rather with the response to the accident or any studies, analyses, etc. about the accident....
