Re: Received a warning from Moderator

I just realized that I had a private message from the moderator (sent Sep 7, 2013) warning me not to post controversial messages in these forums. This is unbelievable. In the age of openness, the internet, freedom of expression, I can't post disagreeing with others in this forum? That's the last th...

Re: Datacenters - Energy Source

Every so often we get a suggestion to break up the forums into smaller, subject specific ones. The idea sounds good, but the devil is in the details ;-) It's very simple for us to create a few additional forums, but the question becomes what are the dividing lines? Do you break them them up by gener...

Re: confusing forum structure

Well, I don't make those decisions, but I don't think that Trius wants to set up a database of documents, as such, because that probably involves a good level of effort in maintaining it, supporting it, etc. The way ti is now, users may upload whatever document they feel would be useful to others he...

Re: Energy Technology

Pleonat, unfortunately, I don't, but I'm sure you'll find more links if you google the appropriate keywords. We *all* have the same access to that ;-) Well, I still haven't been able to find a copy of the Beta Heating paper by P. Karahalios and K. Wainio in English. If anyone has a copy of it and c...

As we told you in a private message, we increased the attachment size to 4 Mb. Hopefully this will suffice.

Re: New ASEASY Users?

I know that some of us die-hearts still use aseasy for win, but I always wondered if any new computer users even know what it is! I think they should probably teach some intro courses in college (or even high school) on aseasy and other "basic" programs, so that kids that finish school to...

Re: Any connection with TRIUS in Germany?

Not to my knowledge. There seem to be a number of companies with the name TRIUS, but as far as I know, none of them is related to TRIUS, Inc. of North Andover, MA.

Re: What development language?

Very interesting thread. You know, there appears to be a lot of interest in the subject (development languages and now matlab/scilab,...) You may want to ask the moderator to set up a special area for you on this board, like a dedicated forum. Doesn't that make sense? They could ask the moderator :...

TiVec was discontinued a number of years ago, about the same time that Tiger data was made available in SHP format.
